Recently, I have been indulging in dried dates – my favourite spring and summer snack. I love having them when a Dutch weather gets worse and knowing their health advantages and benefits makes me feel even better!
Healthy benefits of dried dates:

- Dried dates have iron, potassium, magnesium, phosphorous and copper.
- They are great source of iron.

- Great energy booster! They contain fructose and glucose that can keep you going throughout the day.

Ooooh I love dates! And they’re so good for you – no wonder we break our Ramadan fast with them <3 Dates smoothie, or ice cream is delicious (although I'm not sure how to make it), and in Pakistan we get dates with the centre seed removed, but a whole almond inserted instead – delicious snack!!
Yes, I totally agree. I personally prefer dates with seeds, much yummier in my opinion! I didn’t know you are attending Ramadan :). Good to know!
