My preparation

IMG_3813

I started my preparations already. I run 3 times a week and do intervals twice a week. Rest day is every Sunday and Tuesday. For the next two months I decided to run from 5 to 8 km with 2 kg weights or 10 km without. 3 months before the marathon kicks off, I will run 15 km and full 21 km for 4 last weeks.

Additionally, I eat clean and drink a lot of water!

Wish me best of luck!

  1. Oh, how wonderful! I know you are going to do great. =) Also, how fun that they have a kids’ run! My daughter is only (almost) 2 years old now, but I can already tell that she is going to like stuff like that as she gets a bit older. Even now, she loves going on mini-hikes + jogs with us!

  2. Wow this is so exciting, congrats! I did my first (and ONLY) marathon in 2003 in San Diego, California, it was gorgeous! I “hit the wall” around mile 17–probably because that’s the longest I trained for up to that point–but managed to finish!;-)

    • Thank you, Jess. I’m also very excited about it. It’s my first half marathon and I want to complete it with no problems so I’m training hard!!

  3. Nice! Wish you all the best! Hope you get to achieve a good placing! Maybe you should make a limited edition “RunAgnessRun” running vest, if you win then you can put your vest up for sale! 😀

    • Hey man! Running vest? That would be a nice idea :-). I will think of that. If so, I bet you would be interested in wearing one, right? 🙂

  4. I am supposed to join my first ever fun run tomorrow but I’m still in Manila. I am hoping it will be the start of my ‘active lifestyle’ and not just stay in front of the computer when not travelling lol. I will be following your adventures dear 😀
