Quick and easy pre-workout meals and snacks

In the previous post I have shared my 4 favourite YouTube channels I work out with. Each channel offers a great variety of workouts from simple cardio to intensive intervals. However, what you eat before your workout is also very important. In fact, it is crucial. Therefore, I always make sure to eat a proper meal/snack before my training. Here are my favourite choices that you can go for if you are in rush: 

Peanut butter toasts with honey and fruits

3 pieces of toasted brown bread spread with peanut butter and honey topped with a fruit of your choice (I usually have some cherries, blueberries or strawberries)

Powerful smoothie

I have a list of top 5 powerful smoothies that I drink every single day. These are for example:

  • chocolate + banana
  • acai powder + cinnamon + pineapple + mango + coconut milk
  • spinach + almond milk + vanilla protein powder + banana

They are super yummy and rich in vitamins we need to keep us going!

Rice cakes with quark and fruits

I’m in love with rice cakes. There is nothing better than having 4 rice cakes spread with natural quark and served with blueberries or strawberries. I often mix cocoa with quark to make it more creamy and chocolate :).

Protein waffles with fruits

Healthy gluten free protein waffles are a perfect choice for a pre-workout snack. They are very filling, yet yummy. You can spend 20 minutes in the kitchen and make 10 or 15 of them for the next couple of days.
