We all love chocolate. Yes, we do. It is good to have a piece of it from time to time, but how can we resist chocolate temptation every day? What if we’re slowly becoming chocolate addicts. In today’s post we will beat chocolate cravings with 5 simple steps!
1) Think about the reason behind why you want to eat chocolate
Maybe you had a bad day or you are feeling lonely. Maybe you are bored or hungry or just the opposite, you are feeling happy and over the moon.
2) Take whichever of these emotions mentioned above and distract yourself
If you are having a bad day, take a relaxing shower or bath once you’re back home, watch a movie or go for a walk. If you are feeling depressed or down, talk to friends, go workout, go jogging. If you are feeling hungry, eat something healthy, for example 2 slices of brown bread with a spoon of peanut butter and sliced banana.
3) Think about all of the bad effects
Think how bad sugar is for you. Having one piece will make you wanna eat more and more. It’s unhealthy and besides, you can get some other treats next weekend.
4) Not being hungry is the key
If you have a well-balanced diet and you workout regularly then chocolate cravings don’t happen or they happen very rarely. Don’t forget about fruits and veggies in every meal and you will avoid sugar with no problems.
5) Challenge yourself, monitor your progress and be happy!
Keep challenging yourself. 30 days with no sweets? Yes, I’m in. 2 weeks with no chocolate bars and unhealthy snacks? Not a problem. Keep a diary and be proud of yourself! No artificial sugar in your diet with boost your energy and make you feel much better throughout the day.
